what we do

  • approach
  • community
  • programs
  • New immigrants and refugees face significant cultural, linguistic, financial, educational and social barriers when they arrive in the U.S.  To address those barriers, our comprehensive services address the every-day needs of families facing the challenges of life in a new country, and are specially designed to be culturally competent & language appropriate to each community we serve.

    Our programs have three core goals:

    • To empower and strengthen the socio-economic development of immigrant families through education and access to support services;
    • To encourage the integration of immigrant families into American society while maintaining their own cultural identities;
    • To support families in reaching their highest potential and prospering in a diverse society.

    All our programs share a core methodology in service delivery. Working closely with our client families, we assess their needs from the onset, and tap into specific support services from our own integration and advancement programs, as well as from our other community partnerships. Ongoing assessments help us identify their needs, assist them in setting goals, and deliver the most effective services in the most efficient way.

    We are an outcome-based organization. We constantly evaluate our programs and strive to improve our services to ensure that our client families reach the goals that they set for themselves.
