CIANA is a multi-service, multilingual social service organization that directs its services to new immigrants and refugees from the Middle East, South Asia, and North Africa. Its goal is to create a platform where newcomers are identified from the outset and engaged in services that will lead to their social integration and economic advancement. CIANA takes a lead role in promoting civic participation and equal access to opportunities, and builds bridges of understanding and mutual respect between the host and newcomer communities. Its service delivery model relies heavily on a broad-based collaborative network of stakeholders that includes government agencies, nonprofit organizations, business entities, public officials, philanthropists, faith-based and community organizations, acting together as agents of social change.
