    Daina Begum

    Case Manager

    Daina serves as a Case Manager in the Child Welfare Preventive Services program and in the Healthy Families program providing services to immigrant families from Bangladesh.

    Daina previously worked as a Primary Clinician at PAC, an outpatient substance abuse clinic, providing diagnostic assessment, intervention, and counseling in both individual and group settings. She also worked with Woodhull Medical Center’s Smoking Cessation/ Brooklyn Clear the Air program providing outreach and administrative support.  Additionally, she was a marketing research specialist in international trading for the Governor of South Korea.  While completing her BA degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Daina interned at the NYC Department of Investigations Marshals Bureau/ Background Unit.

    Daina is currently attending Fordham University to pursue her MSW in Clinical Social Work.  Daina also received her CASAC-T, has a certificate in Tobacco Training from the Mayo Clinic, and has participated extensively in other quit smoking/ substance abuse trainings.  Daina is fluent in Bengali.
