    Case Manager

    Hasan serves as a Case Manager in the Child Welfare Preventive Services program providing case management services to immigrant families from Bangladesh.

    Hasan has a unique work history relating to both the fields of finance and law. He previously worked as an independent contractor providing budgeting and profitability analysis for small private firms in lower Manhattan. He also interned at a Queens based law firm specializing in disability, guardianship and personal injury law, and has experience working with social security and private disability cases. More recently, Hasan completed an internship at a Wall Street law firm specializing in Immigration and Naturalization law, working primarily on South Asian and Middle Eastern cases. He has experience in corporate immigration petitions, illegal entry cases, as well as deportation and removal proceedings. He also volunteers for the “CUNY Citizenship Now !” program where he helps prepare free petitions for naturalization.

    Hasan is currently pursuing a combined BA/MA in Economics at the City College of New York. He holds a BS in Legal Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is fluent in Bengali.
