Recent Collaborations

CIANA was established to serve hard-to-reach, marginalized immigrant communities and to address the socio-economic and cultural barriers that prevent them from successfully integrating into their communities. Our services are designed to be holistic and include strong relationships with government, nonprofit, and other service providers as an essential part of our service delivery system.

The NYIC Coverage 4 All Campaign, we are pleased to have recently been awarded a grant by The New York Immigration Coalition to join its campaign to expand health coverage for all New Yorkers who are excluded from eligibility for coverage because of their immigration status. We thank the NYIC for its efforts to ensure that our immigrant families and children are supported by their community organizations.

The Communities Together for Health Equity (CTHE), a collective of Community Based Organizations that aims to bring CBOs together to improve responsiveness to community health needs and full involvement in health planning and system transformation. Families United for Learning and Literacy (FULL), CBOs coming together to improve outcomes for community members through a full scope of family literacy services, and to address the lack of basic literacy and numeracy skills that children and adults need to succeed in the labor market. Zone 126, a partnership of schools and CBO’s in areas of high need within Astoria and Long Island City, to provide a continuum of care from cradle to career and solve social problems through large scale impact.
