This fall's Read-In Series at CIANA was a success!
From early October through late November, our Elementary After School Tutoring students were visited by Council Members Daniel Dromm and Costa Constantinides, Assembly Members Brian Barnwell and Michael Dendekker, and Lydia Li and Sandro Navarro from the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs.
The leaders read books about diversity, inclusion, and self-confidence to our students, who were always excited to meet their elected officials.
We would like to thank all those who read at CIANA this fall. As 2019 comes to a close, we look forward to deepening our partnerships in the coming year.
