On July 17, CIANA participated in an Arabic language Q&A regarding the 2020 Census, hosted by the Queens Public Library. The meeting featured CIANA’s former Census Outreach intern Doaa Al-Tameemi and Arabic-speaking representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau and Women for Afghan Women.
The Q&A addressed the most common questions and concerns surrounding the 2020 Census, particularly those held by members of the Arab American community in Queens, and New York City as a whole.
